The night is dark and full of terrors.

Winter is coming.

IMO the team would be fine, yes we need a bit of beef but its not a player problem, its a coaching problem or lack of it.

Elston got told time and time again that we don't want Agar and we still got him, go figure that one out.

And before anybody says could i do better, well i could not do any worse.

You could if you have motivational skills. I personally think it would be good to have a stab at a local lad with coaching experience at several levels who could bring fire and passion. Jowitt, Marchy or Longstaff for example.

FWIW I'm confident we have the raw product of an international here.

What we have to do is support his transition & development at every stage.

With Tony Kemp's recommendation to add to that of Henry Paul, Monty Betham & Hull FC that's quite a good list of referee's to call in. I wish I had similar people in my field to call in on my CV!!!

If any WT fan's haven't already check out the games on the NSW cup site (too lazy to post a link!- it's Saturday!) I'd advise in doing so!
IJ plays a good creative game, albeit in the #13 role & has a decent kicking game with ball in hand- something we lacked since Broughy left! He'll blossom at #6 IMO.

From the info the club has posted out/ what Isaac has posted on twitter; his transition seems to be seamless. His visa was relatively quick, he was impressed with pictures of his house & was greeted at the airport by the clubs most senior staff. Even the most "down to earth" WTW fan must see this is a world away from where we were 2 years ago. Take Shane Tronc (my favourite #8 EVER!) and how he was treated by TR et al. Sickening to say the least!

"The Glover approach" seems to be doing the business & I'm confident, that with our rapidly recuperating reputation & long established history, we'll be a big draw from player & sponsors in years to come.

As far as IJ goes (and I'm willing to be quoted on this at a later date!!): In 18 months we'll be worrying if we can get him to sign an extension to keep the vultures (giants) away, this lad has the potential to be as good as Henry Paul IMO.

Once a Sandal Wild Cat always a Sandal Wild Cat.

Some talk of Bradford Northern and some of Hull and Leeds
Of Wigan and St Helens and such great teams as these
Of all the teams in Rugby league with me you will agree
The best team in the whole wide world is Wakefield Trinity!

Bring back the British Coal shirts for 2012

Come home Steve Georgallis & Nigel Wright
Oh educated one explain this Trinitarian or whatever you like to be known as??

Cannot use the taking time to gel excuse anymore Cas were streets ahead of us last night in every department. If its not working the worst thing you can do is nothing, we have plenty more players to choose from so use them, its not just about size up front its about passion , pride , ideas and taking risks. At the moment the best player on the field is Ben Cockayne and we need the other players to take on the same workload and enthusiasm. Oh and why does Smith never look where he passes?.

To be fair, Fox showed plenty of desire when he got the ball, but it really comes to something when the two wingers are the most commited players on the field.

There are others who also seem committed, Mathers, Aiton, and Wood are further examples but clearly some are not yet up to it, or can't be bothered!
