Lazy journalism or worrying emergence of an old story?
The Sun (not a reliable source of information, I know) had reported today that Wakefield's problems are mounting and that we threaten losing our coach.
I hope this is lazy journalism, and know that JK has said he wants to take us to our new stadium etc. I also think he will want to work with this team he has put together, and that the England job is a poisoned chalice etc, but.....
Is the Terry Newton thing just one more problem which he could do without, and something which could turn him towards the England job if it were offered?
I really hope not, but was the reported "four hour meeting with directors" just about Terry Newton, or were other things discussed?
Word to the wise, buddy, since when did anybody take anything that The Sun wrote seriously. Complete utter tosh and just the kind of "sensationlist" bulldung that so-called comic would come out with.
Still, second in the league, new stadium plans submitted, unbeaten so far this season, doesn't sound like a coach in crisis to me.
