Can't understand anyone who thinks it's ok to swear constantly at a rugby game. I've had countless run-ins at home matches with numpties who stand behind us and can't seem to go 5 minutes without swearing.

There's no need for it at all with so many young children going to games nowadays. There's already one fixture in the calender that I will refuse to take my little girl to because I know how bad it will be, and if our own continue doing it, I will simply stop taking her as I know others will too, and that's the sad thing about it.

There will be no-one on here who swears as much as me, at work with the lads, in the pubs, playing football with the lads I can swear with the best of them, but one problem I have never had is being able to control it where children are around and that's whether I've had a gallon of ale or am completely sober.

It's called respect..

Totally agree with this post.

People need to know where the line ends and know when to stop. Unfortunately it seems there is a minority who do not, and sadly this can spoil it for other supporters, especially those who attend games with young children.
Yes, I know its a rugby match and you can expect to hear the odd bout of swearing, but every other word is disgusting.

well thats good news,

by the way, is there a way we could get all the people together to make some noise, it seems to me in the side stand where the seats are is louder due to being enclosed.

Fair play to you and your mates for coming on here and responding to the criticism in a reasonable way. That's a decent thing to do. I hope you and your pals will take the comments made on this thread on board and concentrate on supporting your team in a positive way in future. It's not as if you don't have a good team to support now, after all.

I don't want to see them banned, i want them to realise that they need to think of others.

bigal i do not want to see them banned. I think when they are not swearing and carrying on they bring a good atmosphere to our support. as someone stated earlier they start a lot of the singing.

I am also not saying my opinion is right and theres is wrong.

Common ground is that we all follow our team home & away and support them passionately

I wasnt at the KC so cant comment on Friday evening. BUt I have to echo the sentiments about swearing and poor behaviour at matches (and it aint just young uns). My kids are both under 10 and I won't stand for bad language from them or around them. Its as much part of being a man / adult to know how to behave in different situations and like it or not swearing at, goading and threatening other supporters might be your idea of fun but it spoils the fun for others particularly those who bring their kids to the game (well me anyway)

The sad thing is all that energy spent having a go could be invested in encouraging support which my kids, me, their mum and their grandad love to join in with. Their is nowt like a chant of Wakefield Wakefield Wakefield to bring the generations together. Cmon all of us focus on encouraging not having a dig - everyone wins.

To be honest adam we need a new ground with a roof over all sections and then we will get the noise going.
Be as loud as we were all on friday night.

Proud of the noise we al made on fri night....even the chavs!!

exactly.....we need our own 'south stand'..i know we slate them, but...

They're always there in numbers....

They're always vocal....

They're good for the odd decision or two...

They're good for player moral...

They're good for atmosphere...

They're good for the club...How much money does the sound stand bring in for leeds a season? 5000 season tickets? matchday gumph, away ticket sales, merchandise....

..dont come back with the 'oh yes because its leeds' speech....all teams who have such a stand down one side of their ground can sway the odd refs call, when 5000 folk all shout 'forward' at the same time it sometimes sways a refs call, especially those inexperienced ones....

lets be honest, everyone needs their own version of the south stand!!!!

Deffo, if we had one at BV it would be great but sadly we don't!

When we get this new ground the atmosphere should be rocking every week with cover! :D

Only read the thread upto about page 8 or 9 so sorry if any of this has been covered.
As someone who sits near the away fans (I'm 21 and not a chav, so don't judge me because I sit in Hulls chav corner  ) I wasn't exactly sure as to why the first patch of people were chucked out. But having read what your fans have to say on it I can fully see why now. End of the day the stewards always seemed to be telling the group off for something before some got chucked out. Agreeing or disagreeing with what the stewards were saying doesn't matter, it wasn't obvious the group were been warned.
Also I don't think the stewards are a problem either. It's not the past 2 or 3 visits now that stewards have thrown out some Wakey fans. It very rarely happens at the KC with away fans, it just seems to be a problem with Wakey recently.
It's not that I'm saying Wakey have the worst fans or anything, as I don't feel that its that big a problem anyway and think some of you are overreacting with how serious it is. All it takes is stewards to warn them, and if they don't listen, to remove them. Afaik these types of young chavs don't exactly cause problems when you play us at your ground so it seems to me that they just try and act all hard because of segregation. All I suggest you do is complain to stewards more if it happens in future fixtures.
Also, I think you brought between 1.2k-1.5k fans, but unfortunately, not more than Cas brought this season

Well your the first person to say that everyone else says we did. so we will go with majority

And the lads are not chavs, so you are wrong again!
