According to this poster all players leaving Hull are poor. Totally ignoring what toxic wasteland Hull FC have become in the last ten years.
I would take almost any player from Hull based on the theory that they can't get any worse than Hull have made them. For most including Trueman, the only way is up.
I'd love you to give me an example, although I told you Proctor was a terrible signing and you told me he wasn't.
Plus in the last 10 years we have won the challenge cup twice

Let's be honest Dave, there are very few players that have gone to Hull FC over the last few years and performed well consistently, infact it's quite the opposite, you've taken what on the face it of it are brilliant players or players with lots of potential and turned them into rubbish ones... Although I think you may have turned a corner bringing Cartwright in and seem to have a few good young players with lots of potential, particularly the young fullback, half and hooker you have coming through.
I don't think that's true, plenty of good players have come and performed well, the issue we have spent money on either shocking players or paid too much for injury prone players.
Shocking recruitment of players and coaches has led us to this mess
Dave,as regards your post on Trueman it's pretty much how I've seen him play on tv and agree entirely. I don't think there is any doubting that he was an exceptional player at Cas and DP must be confident that he can get back to that kind of form.If he's in then he will get my full backing.
Good post and I agree, there is a good player there and you only have to look at Evalds, who looked finished at Cas and has been exceptional.
Think it's best for Trueman and Hull to part ways.
Can not get my head round the fact that we are signing a 6 and 7 from two of the worst teams in S L this season and they are going to make us a top 8 team Playing in the spine of the team they have got to take some responsibility for the poor form of the two teams
Ok, the last few years if that helps, fact is your club was in free fall and even now some of your signings have been dire
Never said we haven't been poor the last 7 or so years and recruitment has been terrible.
Some of our players leaving have been poor(Gale, Reynolds l, Evans, Trueman, Ockunbot, Pele etc) , some good (Connor, Swift, Litten, Griffin, Clifford etc).
Scott's a good player with potential, picks up alot of injuries though.

I get where you’re coming from, but you need to have kept an eye on them to see that it’s hard to pin much responsibility on them. Russell has only started 11 games, some of them at hooker, in a spine dominated by two talented plonkers (Connor and Lolohea). The idea of bringing him in is to let him lead a team around instead of being backup or second fiddle. Trueman’s played 11 games all season, and has always looked one of their better players. If Trueman stays fit we’re onto a winner. On Russell I’m not so confident, but would love to be proved wrong.

Trueman could go either way for Wakey, he'll be much better with a proper pre season which he's never had at Hull but he's been far from one of our better players, an on loan Reynolds and an 18 year old Charles have been much better. I dont think the marquee contract helped his performances with the expectation to perform as a marquee player in the pressure cooker at Hull. I hope he goes well and stays injury free whether that's with Hull or Wakey, the kid deserves some luck. There's a good player in there he just needs a chance to show it consistently.
If you’ve watched rugby long enough and taken things on board over the many years of the game players move from club to club and a lot fit in well and excell and many don’t, ive got trust in DP to select the players we need
