TRB........Its time for you to stop being a busy body and cease trying to sugar coat turds and giving these poor fans things to cling on to, such THAT.... if you were not involved and read the rediculous garbage you have written over the last few months you would see straight away that there wasn't a hope in hell of it actually becoming a reality.

These fans deserve better!!

Its time for some cold hard truth on this forum and it will be tough to cope with, but stringing people along with pathetic petitions and new groups to join is a waste of everybodys time!!

The facts are thus:

- The club is in debt and without new investment will go bust within a month or 2.
- The club will not get a new Franchise.
- The club is probably unlikeley to meet its 2011 Super League commitments.
- Newmarket will NOT get the go ahead following the Public Enquiry and the project will be shelved.

Wakefield should not be asking the fans for all this money when investors won't touch it with a barge pole, they are banking on blind emotion and its a disgrace!!

If the fans want Ted out and to take the club over, why not let it go into administration and buy it for a lot less money, they could have a very good future in the championship and not have to throw all this money into a defunct Super League dream!!

Me and my family are season ticket holders, shirt buyers, etc and cut holidays short to support the team through thick and thin. Do you not think that us mere fans - or Joe public as you called us - need to know what is happening.

We are losing fans left, right and centre and i for one can not blame them for voting with their feet.

No doubt the club will want us to get behind them, ie put our hands in our pockets again, well if my and my families input is not needed i will leave it to you and your fellow shareholders to bail us out.

The only thing the clubs management is doing at the moment is alienating the fans even further.

Got to agree with you I have supported the club since 75/76 my daughters will no longer come I got 4 other family members and friends from Barnsley attending games in 2002/3 to 2008 but all have now dropped off. We all spent money in the shop and attended home and away. I started to lose interest half way through last season for the first time in 35 years. In that time I have supported home and away helped to clear snow off the pitch painted the stands cleaned the S/holes sold Trinity line tickets etc. and in all honesty don’t think I will bother next season just can’t take anymore I have never being so disillusioned with Wakefield Trinity and the game of RL in general.

Nonsense!

And the difference between the two ideals is that we are fans first, not business men. Only the RFL can explain why the sensible business route for the club is the one that we cannot take - despite them doing the very same with another club which is supposed to be on equal footing with us! :?

Because we were offering security against something that does not, and may never, exist? A club requesting financial aid when it has had the same ownership for years, and 11 years in the top flight to get it's act together is much different to a new entity bogged down by the debts of a previous owner?

hmmm, champagne charlie!!!
i smell the work of a previous amber clad gremlin!!!
in answer to your well thought out musings (not) though,
1 all clubs are in debt, including yours.
2 we dont yet know, it may still be you.
3 cant see that being an issue, how do you come to your conclusion (please show all working out)
4 how do you know this to be true? i have had a letter sent to me today giving the reasons why it has gone to a "local" inquiry, and to be honest it doesnt look as bad as first thought, most issues should be addressed by the developer.
Wakefield can ask its fans for what it choses, a bit like buying a brick to make up for a cash shortfall on GH.
Last point i agree with, as long as the rfl are going to deal with us the same as crusaders, id deffo think it was the best way forward.

How can something be a fact -- yet still be probably/unlikely

Apart from the club is in debt - as are many others, your comments are not facts, just your opinion.

Why have you waited until now to pass comment and not done previously?

Or have you??????

I agree that all clubs are in Debt to some degree but i am sick and tired of this bull about player image rights being the only reason you keep owing money to various people........its just not true, all the garbage about Wakefield being a test case for image rights ......what ROT!!!

Of course they can ask the fans for whatever they want.....but it does look very bad especially when the RFL see it, I also feel sorry for the fans being asked to come up with this massive amount of money just after Christmas..........its very poor, dont you agree????

Please note, i am absolutely not affiliated to any club (Except Leeds United) so whatever you think, you are wrong.

Just sick of seeing certain people on here spouting crap!!!
