Did you read the bottom bit about players wages and overseas accounts.

The offshore payments, which go back to at least 2005, have in some cases made up to 40% of players' salaries tax free, in addition to exempting clubs from National Insurance payments. Most Super League clubs, like their counterparts in other sports such as football and rugby union, have been involved in some offshore or image-rights schemes with their overseas players,

think ours is simpler, and smaller!

i dont think image rights on any of our over performing superstars would amount to much!

you need one off superstars with big noses for that, allegedly!

As some people have stated on this thread, if image rights are the reason we've been clobbered with this bill, then we're by no means alone, not that this justifies any action we may have taken (from an ethical point of view).

actually this is a big non story!
our assets are in excess of 4 million i would guess including players and we owe not less than 300k?????
