Sorry but I disagree, the "whole" development is what matters to the "people" that matter.
If the development was looking like being refused because of an unpopular aspect, (such as a sports stadium) the plans would be changed, and you would have no say at all. You only have to look at the plans to see how the development has used/benefited from placing the ground where it is to be sited.
We are desperate for the ground because of our own reasons but we are a very very small potato, and if you don't believe that you are deluded.
As for the poloticians, they would buy and sell their souls for a sniff of winning, so there all either going to be, all for it or risk loosing more votes than they would get, apposing it. Morales and politicians don't go together it's a simple matter of numbers with them.
We've done our bit with the petition, and well done to you for that, but now we,re out of the equation.
