A fraction of what was promised, running late, and mired by poor decisions and a lack of forward planning....yep sounds like this current board we're in charge

Pop tart there is a saying don't argue with idiot's as they drag you down to your level. Egg b you need to go to a local club whatever level and see how difficult it is run any club amateurs or professional and then you might understand how things work. I can assure minors like you are never around long
The average onlooker could say that the stand that JM wants as his statue and legacy is actually a shadow of what it should have been?
Promised a 2,500 seater stand, 250 seater hospitality lounge, on the L ground floor, concession kiosk at both ends, Changing rooms, treatment room, confereonce rooms etc. All as promised. Latest technology floodlights, the best playing surface in the league, refurbished North Stand, New Large Digital screen, resurfaced car park, New roof on Rollin shack, and plans for a fully refurbished centre for community use.Introduced another sports club to use the redeveloped stadium, with plans for other community sports to use the facilities. I could go on, but with egg banjo your agenda, I don’t think you’d be interested The point is, what was promised has been delivered.

What we were promised was a fully redeveloped stadium, but at every single stage they reduced what we were actually getting to the absolute bare minimum. Even going back though this thread (second paragraph in the first post references scalling back the plans), it is obvious that absolutely loads has been cut from the original proposal. But like a frog dropped in cold water and slowly boiled, those who refused to look critically and instead believe everything the club tells them fail to see how much we have been short changed from the original

If by 'they' you mean the current board they absolutely did not promise that. If you mean Yorkcourt then by all means write to them. I don't think they are on this forum.

You weren't promised, it was a plan, a forecast. From your posts, you seem to live in your own little world, whilst others have to live and work in the uncertainty of the real world. Covid, Ukraine war, inflation are just a few of the uncertainties and challenges that have had to be overcome. You ought to be grateful that the decision makers, the people who have been working hard, have achieved as much as they have!

It hasn’t really has it? Rollin shack was supposed fo be a gym and fitness suite with a cafe and meeting area upstairs.
North stand was supposed to be refurbished on its original footprint and not half of it, with food and beverage offerings. The east stand was supposed to have executive suites along its length.
And if we are really being picky, we should have had a new 4 sided ground from first principles. But let’s not let the truth get in the way of a good smokescreen.

Oh so we should just be quiet and grateful for the crumbs we've been given rather than the plate of biscuits they told us they could deliver instead of pointing out that they have failed to deliver what they proposed, and failed to deliver the significally reduced offering anywhere close to the originally stated timeframe. Got it
