I think you will find that the post albeit a little vague is in fact supportive of the board and questions the supporters negativity.

The pre match speech by MC said it all. Two plans. One for the Championship, the second for SL. No other SL chairman would approach the media in such a way. That’s because, as said before, he is an account, albeit a good one. He is not the man to sell the future of the club to fans via the media. His facts may have been accurate, but the stuff he said is the kiss of death and for behind closed doors only. I did smile when he gave the coach a vote of confidence!. How many there for Leigh now? 750?
Maybe people like PT, who dropped a pop at me over the pie and peas evening, will eventually see that this is disastrous management, shocking recruitment, and sub standard coaching. I said I would try a bit longer. That’s it. If they can’t give a stuff, why should I.

Got to agree about announcing to all n sundry we’re preparing for championship ! Of it has to be considered but like you say behind closed doors . Fans need to hear positive remarks to even consider wanting to go to matches .. even us with season tickets! Can’t stand the way we are whimpering our way out of SL … to become an embarrassment in our 150th year is just shameful ! Fight for gods sake !

He can't really win can he. If he doesn't say anything people will say he's blind to the reality but personally, I wouldn't have said it on TV as people only hear what they want to hear and will assume he thinks we are going down.

Agree it’s a fine balance but just so wrong imo … smacks of the year Webster came out virtually saying we’d given up up to the relegation decider !! Anyone with an ounce of sense can see the situation we’re in … need to hear that we’re doing everything to get out of it not succumb to it .

In Spooki's defense, he was answering a quite condescending posts so difficult to reply without doing the same.
However, I actually think we've all been pretty good lately on this. Very emotive subject with lots of conflicting views and conclusions but I don't think I've had to mod anyone in this period. I do appreciate that.
