All due respect to the Championship clubs, but if Lynn (sp?) isn't good enough for Hull (yet), he might be good enough for that level. Wakefield got a franchise.

The rest of the list are well-liked but fairly unthreatening. Obst is good, but that is about freeing up his quota spot as cheaply as possible. Though he is rumoured to be due for an UK passport.

One consolation for Wakey fans is that Agar's 'failures' were partly down to these sort of perceptions leading to unrealistic expectations. All IMO, and I'm naturally biassed too, of course.

I concur.

Signing players from your former club (yer mates) was something JK took a lot of flak for so why oh why do we expect RA to sign half the hull team?????????? Lets face it Hull will only release who they want when they want.

Because Agar learnt from Kear Maybe?

I'd be very surprised if Tongia isn't staying.

Thought I read roberts was available. Was in cracking form pre injury last year. If he is capable of regathering that then could be an option. Hopefully a few additions to come and a few of quality.

Point taken and agree it may have come across as patronizing, I apologise but that was not my Intention. I appreciate Wakey may have thier own kids, I was throwing Lynn in there as potential player that Agar may sign. It makes no difference to me where Lynn goes, I just want to see him play week in week out for him to develop. The fact Agar has seen him train every week and knows about his potential is ehy I thought he may be an option as a loan signing. I was not meaning to say Wakey should take our Youngster and develop them but that Agar may have an interest in these particular players as he has first hand knowledge of them and may feel he can temp them to wakefield on a long term basis in the future as we did with Carvell, Raynor and Dowes from Leeds.
