I don't want to add to the so-called hype, but I think he's going to be one of the better props in SL as well. This is a top, top signing.

I’d agree with that. With the new rules too he would be a dream. He can shake some bones with his low tackles. Exactly what we need.

I agree, but I think he can do longer minutes and maybe a 13 middle

I am extremely happy with that announcement. He's brilliant and ours for 4 more years!

I think this is great news, he has probably been our best player since he has come in and doesn't seem to have a weakness in his game. I admit that this is only against Champioship opposition but I think he can easily step up to Super League if we get there. He reminds me quite a bit of Jai Whitbread.

Yep.
Big fan of Jai, but I think that Ky is better.

Agree, Jai was anonymous most of this first half season then came good back end for a string of games.


Season after injured a lot and didn’t break many pots.

Whitbread is a good forward but Rodwell looks early signs a different class (albeit against Championship opposition but that’s unavoidable).

I'm a big fan of Whitbread but he's a very different player to Rodwell.

Agreed Rodwell is a middle and Whitbread is more a prop.

I think Whitbread has kicked on since he left us and added some impact to his game maybe being in a better environment at KR than he was at Trinity.

I’m expecting a lot of the new lads to kick on next year in SL as they are in the main new to a full time environment coming to the club from part time. They will have had a year to develop in that full time environment and it is one that is superior to what we had under Carters time at the club.
