It really is. Just wish we had enough to re-terrace the whole of the North Stand. The new concrete is great but it's doesn't half exacerbate the poor state of the old.

Looking a lot better than Suncorp this weekend

The atmosphere / noise is massively reduced due to there being fewer fans in there, not helped by the performances.
Overall it's better but, something has been lost with the upgrade.

While it does look better it’s reduced the overall north and stadium capacity by around 1000. It’s a shame we couldn’t find the funds to raise the roof and push it back. A few more months and it will be looking grand. That pitch looks absolutely perfect.

Agreed - looks fab. So what happens in front of the concrete wall then? It is a large distance from the pitch - and they won't be putting terrace there I'm guessing to replicate the former east stand?

Looks like there are steps down to pitch level, perhaps stewards/disabled area.

Ultimately it will give a clear view of the pitch when subs are warming up.

i dont know if its me , but the diagram of the seating plan (tunnels are in different positions) and the photo seem to be slightly different . i don't think it makes a difference , but is there a reason?

You’re right, by the looks the tunnels are in different positions to the diagrams. That’s curious indeed. Wouldn’t that alter the inside space too?

Anybody know the reason for the changes? The tunnels are more closer to the centre.

Hope we aren’t losing any more inside space as a result of more cuts etc. we’ve already had a whole host of scale backs to this point.

There will be seating at the front - not added yet, due to access requirements.

The tunnels come out, then you'd turn left or right to go up the stairs into the stand.
