Had a quick look through the cats bar window this lunchtime while having my fish and chips, doesn’t seem to be much progress on the outside of stand since the Leigh game. Not all the roof panels have been fitted at the South end, there was some work being done with machinery th front of the terrace steps but couldn’t see what, due to the fence panels pitch side. As I left after lunch, all the players and coach were still in the smaller room, I hope they were having an honest and frank conversation.
I used to restore classic cars as a sideline. My wife used to moan that I spent hours on them and they never seemed to change. Then one magic week I’d send it away to the sprayer and when it came back she couldn’t believe it was the same car.
I’m guessing but I imagine construction is like that. Nothing seems to happen for weeks then it just leaps forward. It’s all the little intricacies that slow it down.
I imagine that putting roof cladding on is quite easy it’s what comes before that is hard work.
Think I’m right but who of us has the knowledge to know for sure, not me.
