The guy said we'd challenge for the top 5 and have a crack at the cup. With the form we're in the top 5 is slipping away if not gone, and went out with a whimper in the cup. Lost to London twice, badly. Lost to Hull KR. Lost to St Helens who London have beaten. Lost to Warrington who Hull KR beat yesterday. Got nilled at home by the worst Leeds team in history despite having first choice pivots back.
Despite needing a result today we got thrashed.
Players making the same mistakes week in week out, most of them the seniors. No desire to defend after a scoring a try, this has been a season long weakness. Brought Brough in for game management, haven't seen much of that this year.
If it wasn't for those plucky wins over Wigan and Leeds around Easter...
