That is the sort of spirit you all need, don't give up on your club, i know most of you won't do, so i wish you luck and hope all turns out ok for you, i personally have a lot of time for Wakefield RL club, from a Leyther.

Red Hall will be rubbing their hands with this news no pressure on them now to kick us out in favour of Crusaders and their Championship love child Widnes.

But I have said on this site and the other before how badly run we are off the field for years, I get the usual red/white/blue tinted glasses response, maybe its finally caught up with us. I hope for the sake of all the people at SWAG and the community department that this isnt the case but the BOD and the rest of the hangers on need to have a good long look at their selves in the mirror.

I do not want to slag Championship clubs off as the games are usually more exciting than SL and SL isn't the b all and end all but if we go to the Championship we will never get back to SL EVER.

The Championship is not the end, it's a vibrant, competitive competition. That gets better year on year. You're only kicking up a fuss now because you are at threat. You didn't seem bothered about promotion and relegation a couple of years back when you considered yourself a safe bet for Super League and couldn't give a monkeys about anyone else as long as you were getting your 3 years in SL.

I know your opinion is not shared by the majority of the other Wakefield supporters. Saying you are not going to support your team if they drop down a division says to me you are not a true supporter, a true fan sticks with their team through thick and thin, atrue fan sticks with their team at a time when they need them most and that means standing on the terraces week in week out whether its in Super League or The Championship!

To all the other Wakefield fans I really hope you sort your problems out soon and good luck!

If people are talking of not going to watch should the club not be in Super League, what kind of 'supporters' are they? Clubs don't go up from the Championship to Premiership in union unless up to scratch, let alone from the Conference to the Football League, and every league below. Rugby League is not the only sport when clubs are not promoted based purely on on-field success.

as SHANE once said nevers a long time.the bod are a shambles who take everyone for granted, sl, rfl, its own fans,its own staff. corner shop crew at best

We'll never compete with Leeds in regards to anything. Nobody save for Trin fans and a few conservationists are bothered about the district.
