How is being in Oz an excuse, spook seemed to know and that’s where he is?
I’ll grant you he’s not been on for a bit so maybe he’s been legitimately out of touch.
I suppose after attempting to explain the thing to Cosmicat 500 times to no avail I’ve lost the will to be helpful, oh well.
its probably fair to say that I know... because it's deeply important to me and things that are deeply important to me I tend to read and research ad nauseum... I have no problem in BOJO asking the question as long as the answer means something to him. It's been a long haul and ever since the club house, theatre club, Superbowl, was built by the club in the late 1960s i've followed the desires in construction and development very closely...
some of my writing style can sound a little pointed, but i wasn't intending tt to be cruel... pointing out associated reading is my normal style
i think that general discussion amongst fans is a really good thing, but its important we treat it thus ... just a virtual pub discussion
I had a conversation today with a usually reliable source of information, and apparently today (Friday 14th) is the final day when the SoS is able to call in the Plot 8 application for review. The WMDC planning meeting was on December 16th, 29 days ago. So four weeks, this could be right although I had a six week period for calling in a review somewhere in my head. Looking good now, let’s get the developers sat down with JM, MC, and the council, and get the monies due, paid into the council’s account on behalf of our club, time to see the Developers finally provide the funding, then we can all breathe out.
If anyone has BT Sport Cardiff are playing Quins. The pitch is like the one we'll be getting. Well actually ours will be newer technology but you'll get the point. After 300 scrums the pitch looks good.
Does anyone know where they intend to put the temporary seating once they start demolishing the East Stand.
I seem to remember that during the franchising years, they levelled the back of the West Stand and pledged to put temporary seating there, to bring the capacity to 11,000 and tick one of the franchising boxes, as we needed to tick as many as possible.
That was before they put the roof on the corner, but it's the part between the roof and the structure in the middle.

Regarding the temporary? stand on the West terrace, will there be a problem providing a suitable position for Sky television cameras, I understand that Sky have not been best pleased with the current position, as I’m sure others will recall the situation where the current camera platform almost collapsed as the Sky camera/commentary team ascended the steps and couldn’t use the facility that night.

I think the levelled part wasn't instead of the structure that is there, and they sit on top of that, so I doubt that. And I'm fairly sure that Sky would be fine about anything that in the long term is better. The commentators don't have to be on the camera gantry as long as they can see the game. There are cameras all over the ground. They could erect something on the corner of the north stand or go the platform from the other side.
Sky funding is vital for the game, even though it is decreasing, but at no point do I think Sky will be fretting about not being able to broadcast a Trinity game,
From looking at the fixture list, we have three Thursday fixtures and two Friday fixtures before the end of April, so I wonder whether Sky are planning to fulfil their contractual obligations with those. We have no home fixtures at all in May, so my guess would be that everything begins after the Huddersfield game, when there is over a 5-week gap between home fixtures.

Only 300 scrums in the game....did they abandon it at half time ?? Looking at the TV schedule for this afternoon, there looks to be bugger-all on sports-wise so we might have to bite the bullet and watch Channel 4's coverage of Wasps -v- Toulouse but if it turn's out to be Oonions usual standard then we will be switching over after 5 minutes and watching The Real Housewives of Jersey instead !!!
