Gale leaving Keighley had nothing to do with him particularly pining to be back in super league and definitely nothing to do with IMG (although it was a convenient excuse given their very vocal opposition) and everything to do with their dire financial position. They needed Gale’s wages off the books and the transfer fee we gave them to pay the wages. There will likely be others leave there soon enough as well. Relegation is happening this year, people need to stop clutching at straws.
