Reserving something is choosing or picking it before it goes on general sale.
People who pay in year 1 get preference in year 2 etc.
Those who have historically paid more / paid upfront deserve a preference.
But it isn’t on sale. As said above the ST holders get to pick it before it goes on general sale sale (1 month). The ST holders purchase their ticket for that season so it should end once that seasons done and it should be first come first serve for the following season.
If you pay in year 1 that’s for year 1. Not the priveledge of reserving a seat the following year too.
But that’s exactly what I aim to do. Pay upfront for a choice of where I want to sit. If where I prefer is taken because I got beat to the punch and didn’t have the opportunity because it was reserved 1 month before general sale then I think that’s a bit poor.
It’s fine if your in that position where you can continually reserve the same seat.
That said it’s a new stadium. If I buy a seating ST now for next season can I choose any seat I want in the new stand?
If that’s the case I may buy a seated one and continue to stand in north stand till east stand opens and just keep my seat for years to come if that’s how it does work.
