We can’t have it both ways. Quality cost and we had an awful injury list the last couple of seasons. I’ve no problem with the decision to bring in more bodies as it was said at the time by loads on here that that was what was needed. If the club now go quality over quantity so be it. You pays your money ....

But what we should have is a requirement not to bring in two players to play in the same position that we already have......

Not if those players are injured or are covering other players in different positions.

Not really. If it’s the coach that’s causing people to vote with their pockets then there is a simple way to solve that problem. If those in charge won’t do what is necessary to remedy the said issue then it is they that are killing the club with great haste.

Nope. Just not the same. People have turned up to watch worse rugby than this.

For me. I say I'm a supporter, so I'm supporting the club as best I can.

Right now the coaches, players and management are having serious trouble navigating this season. So are some other clubs. So are many people around the country.

In just the same way that we talk about trying to help local businesses when it would be easier to get a delivery, I see it that this is the time to support the club and all parts of it.
Calling for heads and criticising players when they have so much more on their plate is just not supporting the club in my view. It's adding to the stress.
The objective of the season is to get through in tact. Nothing else. If we lose every game and come bottom but still survive financially then its a win for me.
My enjoyment comes from seeing players turn out for Wakefield under severe pressure and do their best. Sometimes their best isn't good enough to win. Sometimes we get a beating. It's just the way it is this season.
There is no doubt in my mind that if Brough wasn't injured/or too old we'd be doing better. But he isn't and it isn't going to be changed this season through no one's fault. Same applies to Fifita.

I'll enjoy watching the games. I'll be disappointed if we don't win but I'll understand why not and move on to the next game.

As with every other situation in life PT, some people are more tolerant than others.
I fully understand those who want heads to roll, because they are hurting about some of the results we have had AND the way those result were conceded.
It seems heads are not going to roll, so the only thing we can do is hope for better displays until the end of this shambolic, pointless season and hope and pray for better things next year.
At the end of the day there are more serious things going on in the world and if we get to next season, with WP in place, and hopefully some changes in the playing squad I'll be happy to leave it at that.

As stated, it seems obvious that CC is going nowhere soon.
However, I am sure Josh Wood stated during his man of the match interview that “we aren’t fit enough”. Not sure if it was a COVID based comment or a general swipe but the best thing we could do, economy wise, would be a fresh start in that area. A new conditioner with modern ideas and fitness drills helps lift the spirits. Another worn out topic!!

Yes it is, you are just too blinkered to see it through your rose-tintered specs. People may have seen it worse than this but what people won't accept is a deliberate failure to rectify the problem due to misguided loyalties.

But it's ok, you keep up yor holier-than-thou attitude, keep towing the party line and settling for the club going backwards at a rate of knots and then watch as we disappear into the championship and oblivion anyway. Meanwhile those of us that would like the club to be better than that will keep up the pressure until something changes.

He didn't, and has also been one of our very few players that has shown any quality this season.

Also, was the un named player one of the "two senior players" that kicked up a huge fuss when the contracts were renegotiated ?
