Starting on a positive note I thought Walshaw, Samut and Ryan all showed some good signs and Moore again put in a god shift causing Hudds problems with his offloads.
Now for the negatives whilst I appreciate the Easter period is a tough one both teams looked to have turned up to go through the motions there was no intensity or urgency from either side.
Wakefields halves consistently took the wrong options attacking down the wrong flanks and some of the basic skills ie passing from the play the ball and general line passing was shocking from Trinity.
It's tough to single out individuals but Mathers was again woeful. He offers absolutely nothing for me. He was more of a speed bump rather than a defender and give you nothing in attack. The leadership qualities I hear about seem to consist of him walking round like he is carrying carpets under his arms and shaking his head a lot.
Every game this year for Wakey should be a Cup Final with players showing the determination to stay up but I just don't see that. This lack of motivation and poor basic play has to lie at the hands of the coach.
It is very lucky Bradford and London are so dire this year.
