Dunno, just know there will be a swimming baths, gym, some classrooms for schools to use and maybe a NHS drop in.

The feasibility study hasn't been published I believe, but has been completed - in fact it was completed last year.

Funding is in place from numerous areas including naming right, sale of the Jungle and another means which can't be said but a few Cas fans know what.

"SHOULD the new stadium go ahead then the finance worries SHOULD melt away." Positive talk from the coach then.

So cas are wanting Wakefield council to fund (or build sports facilites) as part of the project? thought the council would only help all 3 clubs with planning etc but non financial
While they're members of Wakefield Council on the board of the new community Stadium along with Sir Rodney Walker and the BUPA bloke I thought there was no council money involved in the cummunity stadium.

complete tool we have planning permission, completed feasability studies and now design briefs - wakefield are welcome to come join us at Glasshoughton!

Outline planning permission.

How can you have planning permission when you dont even know what you are building you need to wake up and smell the coffee mate.

Castleford will not get Wakefield Council backing if its owned by Cas RL community or not, thats unlikely anyway because if the land were yours and the funding in place believe me your stadium would be well on its way after the announcement 12 months ago.

Funny how things have sprung into life when Wakefield announced plans for a Community Trust run Stadium

See what happens over the coming months but diggerland is about as near as you are at the moment regardless of the spin from RW

Oh look ANOTHER Wakey fan that knows more about the stadium then the Cas fans, board and Waystone

I know many things about the stadium - and it's all starting to tie in, a bit quicker then I was expecting too. there is still a chance of rugby been played out of a brand new 15,000 stadium by 2011.

So just to clarify after 8 pages

Neither club has a final design?

Neither club has full planning permission ?

Neither club has all the funding in place?

Which supporter has the biggest dad? :D

Wrong  Cas have all the funding ready, now they're looking to (or already have) appoint an architect then the council will push through the planning application (which I believe they said they would do for Wakey & Fev too?)
