Conversely please let me know how you know that all the players are guilty of not caring about the club, or are you working on the theory that it must be they're fault because Carter and his best mate Chessy cannot do anything wrong, it is though quite pleasing to find that you accept that all the players aren't to blame, however once again you have admitted to being clueless, just like the rest of us really, difference being most of us are looking for a solution where as your just looking to apportion blame away from the untouchables.

I'm only clueless in as much as I'm not prepared to let blind faith cloud my judgement on the rights and wrongs of running the club and to apportion blame indiscriminately to suit an agenda which incidentally I don't have, but I do have opinions which differ greatly to that of some who think the management can do no wrong and blindly blame the very same players of irresponsibility who in the past have been applauded by these fans.
As for finding a solution, Carter is far more intelligent than I allegedly, well at least in financial matters, as for recruitment and team selections I have my doubts but it's his club so he gets to say and do what he wants, and if he's prepared to ignore the fans then good luck because without them he will find himself the CEO of a championship club on a part time basis, as for what will I do, quite simple really it spends anywhere.

Think a lot of the current situation as been brought on by the lack of Quality brought in by the coach in close season . Players were a unit until this season .

Tbf, we had a last day escape from relegation last season and but for Toronto, we would be staring down the barrel this time around.
Ok, they bailed out and maybe things would have been different if relegation was on the cards but, we've had 2 seasons of substantial decline on the field, it's beyond question.
I absolutely realise that the issues around covid have made life beyond difficult and you have to sympathise for all concerned, club, players, fans, management etc but, we're not alone in this and results were poor before the off field stuff began to take effect.

As well as the fact of bringing in players in positions for which we already had - as well as the above as they (in my opinion) were no better than we had.
I can imagine that it wouldn't have helped the feeling of "worth" for those already here.....

I remember back in pre-season a senior player was rumoured to have said we would struggle due to a lack of quality. Wonder if said player is the same one blabbing to the press.

We can’t have it both ways. Quality cost and we had an awful injury list the last couple of seasons. I’ve no problem with the decision to bring in more bodies as it was said at the time by loads on here that that was what was needed. If the club now go quality over quantity so be it. You pays your money ....
