I was underage in early 90s (92 ish?) just before Smashing Pumpkins brought out Siamese Dream (seriously underrated album along with Mellon Collie)

oh and i forgot another classic

Oasis supported by Ocean Colour Scene at Leeds Irish centre, just as Supersonic was coming out (94ish?)

Altered Images and Ten Pole Tudor leeds uni then same night down to Warehouse to see The Damned, QTips and A Flock Of Seugulls.

Sorry to but in, and slightly o/t. Not the best gig, but about the only 1 I ever went to in Wakey, we got a mini-bus full from Hull to see The Wedding Present play Rooftop Gardens in 1991, just after Pete Solowka had left. The Weddoes had a thing for playing bizarre Yorkshire venues.

Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert at Wembley Stadium on 20/4/1992. It's the 18th anniversary of Freddie's passing today as well.

indeed squire. old mate of mine went to the irish centre gig didnt realise they were supporting. went to sound city in 95? with manics cast and wannadies which was pretty good line up for the time especially as manics were still playing stuff of the holy bible.
another one i'm glad i saw was the foo fighters first tour at T and C i think it was. not arsed with getting so close to the front these days

I went to see Oasis supported by Whiteout at the Duchess in Leeds - I'd seen Whiteout previously and knew nothing about Oasis. It was packed out and and I couldn't get to the bar so as Whiteout were the band I mainly wanted to see I left before Oasis came on. As I was leaving John Keenan (promoter) said 'you should stay and watch these, they are going to be massive' - I replied 'sure - I'll see them back here in 6 months' ..... ok, I got that one wrong s
