Not hypocritical at all and I expected you to pipe up. But I’m not that fragile I’m afraid.

Johnstone is a fully fledged winger who has over 10 years playing their at the top flight winning a few accolades and topping top try scorer and playing for England.

Murphy is a young winger who still has plenty of time to develop his game and is pretty malleable as younger players tend to be. He’s yet to hit any significant heights in the wing position which is absolutely the position to play him in as a starting point. I do think that he would be an option to look at for centre if he has the skill set. I seem to remember a couple of astute passes by him and his defence for his age was pretty good to.

There’s a big difference in talking about an established experienced winger who plays for England and a young lad who’s got everything to prove and still an age where he can be looked at in another position.

Might not work, might be worth a try or not.

As for Murphy being exceptional. Your exaggerating to try and have a snipe because your I disagreed with your opinion on TJ. How boring.

He’s got good potential, he went well but there’s alot to prove before Murphy gets billed as an exceptional winger.

Bit OTT but consistent with your posts.
You have your opinion I have mine.
Murphy was an exceptional talent for someone his age with lots of potential.
I'm not declaring WW 3 but your post in my opinion was quite contrary to previous views you have stated no matter how much you try to squirm out of it.

I’m not squirming out of anything and I’m happy for you to quote these past posts.

I’m not declaring anything and would never make anything personal but my views haven’t changed and I am consistent in my thoughts.

We are talking about two different players at different points in their career. The thoughts and opinions I have on Johnstone trying new positions are different to that of Murphy and are opinions each accredited to the specific player based on a few factors like age, stage of career, experience etc.

My blanket opinions and thoughts and it’s a pet hate of mine is that I don’t like players being played out of their natural positions unless it’s absolutely necessary. Though my opinion is there is flexibility to try new positions with younger players still learning and developing. I accept it might not work most young players but I’m more open to trying at this stage of their careers.

Take last week and playing a quality winger at fullback and a quality fullback at stand off when it would have been easier and less disruptive to just stick Kay there like vs Bulls and not move 2 players.

Your opinion may differ from mine and that’s fine. I’m wrong on occasions and I can be inflexible with my thinking in some places but it’s all discussion and viewpoints. Even if we disagree and there’s a bit of an exchange of views we are all fans and I don’t treat any poster any different. Happy to chat with anyone about anything.

I heard the same earlier, but the version I heard was that we've also expressed an interest in bringing him back

I know we have Johnstone, Walmsley and Booth for next season but I would welcome Murphy coming back to the club as a young local talent. It would be a good move to bring him back.

Did we hold his registration as a young player under 23/24 like Shaw/Croft?

He picked up a knock is the reason not been playing previously

Despite making a few handling errors in the last game Lewis has kept his place in the Rooster's squad to play Western Suburbs this Sunday
On the bench for the Magpies is Charbel Tasipale, who was recently released by the Cas Vegas Bin Dippers

If Murphy were to return to SL I think we would be one of his choice clubs. Certainly more likely to stay this side of the Pennines imho. That said I think he’ll stay in Oz for as long as he can
