So Williams maybe one.
Boudebza or Pellisier could be another.
Kopczak maybe?
Will Leeds have a clear out and Mullally come back?
Another player who has been injured but gave good value when with us was Daniel Smith, another possibility?
And again Masila, as he is already here and had a year in SL?
Some may say I'm a dreamer but I'm not the only one!

Ben Evans prop released from Warrington after doing them a favour taking an unfit Ben Harrison on for several weeks may be realistic for Trinity surely?

Really big name?......he is without a club and could go back to lower leagues in France where he came from if unsigned in SL.

As for Mateo he is 33 and can't get a game in NRL now and has just been released by Salford so is not unrealistic either...

Anderson (NRL grand final winner) and Scruton (seasoned SL prop and ex international) why can't they be replaced with similar pedigree at Trinity?

There will be a big contract that needs reviewing with A.Tupou and if the club decide/manage to negotiate an early release then there may be potential to replace him with someone like Mateo.

I do however accept your comments about trying to build the team around youth such as Jowitt, Johnstone, Crowther, Batchelor and Moules but think Yates who will be 27 by next season does not fit in with that and is a championship standard player at best.

Yates is being released and won't be here next season.

Jordan Baldwinson is good young player I hope we enquire about. McDermott doesn't seem to rate him. I reckon he could do a job for us.

Williams is far from unrealistic.

We are apparently reducing the current squad by up to 12 players, we know some of the names but not all. The 5 new players are they in addition to the two already named ?

You're one of the worst for over speculating IMHO, every year you throw just about every name available into the mix, but as Shifty states that's part of the fun.

I'm just warning you as per every season the actual signings will not match up to expectations - sorry but experience tells me tahts how it is.

He has done the rounds with a few clubs I seem to remember but has never really proved himself.
Like someone said, Mullaly at Leeds seems out of favour and I thought the guy really put it in for us, would prefer him over Evans any day.

Mullally has has plenty of injury problems this year, hence his lack of game time. McDermott rates him though so getting him out of Leeds won't be easy. If fact i think he reminds him of a younger version of himself as a player. Interestingly back in the day Toppo wanting to sign Brian before he got established at Bradford and it nearly happened. Shame it didn't.
