I was there and I can honestly say it was one of the most heart-breaking ceremonies I've ever been too. It was good to see the whole Salford and Wakefield teams there and other players at other clubs he used to play with. Couldn't of give him a better send off IMO.

That started me off crying also and again when his cousin Luke read out his tribute. Truly moving.

Wow, cant watch either of them vidoes without it touching very deeply. You can see these Guys have lost a true friend, they should be so proud of themselves. So strong

Last week when some of the fans started to sing 'There's only one Leon Walker' I heard a few groans from people who thought it was inappropriate, I on the other hand thought it was nice, and this has been echoed by his dad ( in the Wakefield Express).

Didn't groan but I sort of felt that, but if it helped his dad then it's fine by me.

Yeah that was us. We clapped the family on the pitch and then started singing "There's only one Leon Walker" He was talking about it on the way to the ground saying it would be really nice to hear it. Glad he liked it.

Can not think why it would be inappropriate tbh.

People pay their respects in different ways, so some would see it as almost crass in a sense when they would rather stay silent to reflect on things. BTW I'm not saying either is right or wrong.

Some people were still clapping when we started singing it, thought it was a nice touch tbh.
