Heard it going around that we may have Jordan Tansey in line as Mathers replacement.

Thoughts???

Seems to sorted himself out and is a real threat going forward and seems safe under a high ball. I'd say he was a typical Wakey player. Something to prove as he's not playing much and will do a good job.

If you've watched the game tonight and judged him only on that performance you wouldn't go near him with a barge pole - dropping bombs, missing tackles, making no ground whatsoever. He has had a stinker tonight, maybe he is better than that but based on tonight I would rather us play Gail Platt at full back than Jordan Tansey.

I couldnt get to the game tonihgt, but how did Jowitt play??

He had a good game to say it was his debut! He dropped 2 balls from bombs but you can't judge him on that as every player makes a mistake, abit more game time and looks like he is going to be a fantastic prospect I'm my opionion. Overall he had a good game.

17yrs old,first super league game away at Saints,against the biggest forward line in SL,heart like a lion,played really well and a full 80.If I had owt to do with the remaining fixtures,he'd be there for all games.Take a bow Max and Ian,you should be proud of him

I'd agree with all that. He didn't let the mistakes get him down and he returned the ball very well, with plenty of confidence and pace.
Thought his team mates could have helped him out with a little bit more protection under a couple of the high balls but seems to be the Wakey way.

We'll done Max, I hope you make that No.1 shirt your own.
