I like what he did for Wakefield and would go as far as to say that he has been the most influencial coach we've had while I've been watching Wakefield (and I go back to late 70s).
Many times he made average players into better ones and bonded a team to beat teams they really shouldn't have expected to.
Equally we had games where it didn't go well. That's just sport I'm afraid.
I didn't want Kear before he came. Didn't really like the teams he'd been at, but he changed my mind and it remains changed.
I didn't really want Agar either, preferring to keep Kear, but now we have Agar I'm willing to learn from my mistake with Kear and give him a chance to prove himself and build a club.
