DP said he was 50/50 which means Walmsley is as much in his thoughts as Russell but he felt that Russell would work better vs Leeds. He may prefer Walmsley against other opposition. Walmsley could pull up some trees but equally might not find it easy but us or DP won’t know till he’s played a few games in SL.
There’s no point thinking about it without any evidence to go on in SL in terms of performance. He will have his chance to impress DP.
But, as much as I like Kershaw who seems a real hard worker and dedicated player, he’s not the level we should be aiming at unless it’s as squad depth back up.
