Much as he is quality he has said he wants to go back to NRL so not much point delaying development of current centres. I think Powell is looking at props. Having a quota space spare I think taking the easy option is looking at Salford and my view is as NRL season starts sometimes a big name that would make a big impact becomes available so maybe keeping an option open is a good idea. I think he also lacks the loyalty of a Powell signing.
I still think a top class hooker needs to be on our radar. Hood is possibly at his peak and we need to replace in a year or two. I think Doyle will be quality and Smith could be class but I think we have a gap between Smith been 100% ready and Hood moving/retiring. Just an opinion.
