I wouldn't question the fact that he's put £2m into the club. He was paying into the club 2 years before taking over from Glover. However, I would say a large chunk of this was at the start of taking over. It equates to about £14k per month. Say what you will about Glover, but during 2012 and the first half of 2013, he was putting over double that in.
He has said that there was about £2m of debt in the past, though the figures quoted over the years have changed. When he took over, we also applied to the RFL for a loan, and also used the transfer fee received for Tim Smith to clear some of the debt.
