How can anyone support the utter crap and mediocrity we dish out each week with a coach, nice bloke, who is unable to change, have any effect on results we expect before they happen. Sheiiite business planning and for the first time, like many, I won’t waste my cash on a season ticket. Bilge, utter and complete bilge, a club in free fall to the pits.
You cant say you wont waste ya money on the club how dare you
If we were having an okay season, pushing for the play-offs, we'd say that 40-20 away at Catalans who are currently top of the table, only having lost one game, was a result that was to be expected. The problem is that is sits in a trough of poor losses. In reality, therefore, it's not a bad result in isolation. It's the other results that are the problem.
It's a shame that we don't have the squad depth to send a second string out there and instead get a team fresh for the Huddersfield game. The teams who play the most will begin to fade the quickest.
I read that Swinton have sacked their coach because RL is a results lead business. This obviously is not the case at Wakefield which appears to be more a chumocracy.

Dont think its the results this year but now the last 3 seasons add to this the poor signings and re signings and seeing the same things time and time again.i have had a season ticket for over 20 years for the last 3 get these knowing im probably going to miss around 30% of games due to work but its never bothered me.if cc wasnt put of contract i still would but fact is he is and for me like many others he hasn't done anything to warrant a new deal so i wont throw my hard earned away
Bit of a lucky escape here, along with the Davis try ruled out for a forward pass I guess it could've been 50, again not something anyone could be encouraged about.
Whitley will take a while to live that one down. He's had a shocker there.
Only seen the highlights but big bopper was back to his blockbusting attacking best. Some very weak defense from a tired team though.
He did look strong esp the first one.but no team trys again 2 trys straight from 1pass from the ruck and believe the other only had 2 in there. Not sure how we defended throughout the game but some soft tries in there and we have just made an ok winge in tom davis look like a class half back

I agree with you there. It's not the "not sacking" but the "new contract" that bothers most people, I think. This is a team in his image and it's gone backwards. In the pre-match interview, CC talked about Catalans strength being in having its settled spine out there on the pitch yet we haven't had one at all for a couple of seasons now. Who's the first choice full back? I'm not sure anyone knows. We had Rocky and Jowitt, and then we signed Walker. Who's the first choice half-back pairing? Lino-Miller? Rocky-Miller? Rocky-Lino? I haven't the foggiest.
So, the strength of one side is the one thing we have failed to sort out in two years now.
