Horribly predicable. Very much a case of same old same old. I have absolutely no idea how a 2 year deal could be justified right now. He's out of contract. Allow him to finish up. Thank him for his efforts but start a fresh. We've had 3 years of been very average. 3 years knowing something isn't right.

Its a try before you buy situation and the assessment is - good start but then very unreliable. You don't buy do you....

If Chester had a modicum of integrity he would resign rather than continuing to destroy the club by making the performances nothing less than grim with the occasional slap stick thrown in for good measure.. I regret he appears not to and why should he because let’s face it he is being offered another two years. I cannot see why the club believe this man is the way forward, other than they think he got us into this mess let’s give him another two years to sort it out.
The club must realise they have eroded the support from many groups and are now eating into the diehards and when that happens Wakefield Trinity are finished.

Did anybody actually expect anything different tonight? It's been like this for 3 years and it's going to be like it for another 2. We are going backwards and the current incumbent isn't the man to stop the slide towards the championship but there you go.

I would like to know from anyone why they believe he deserves a two year extension because it’s a mystery to me.

Similar to myself. 53 years of hope and despair. I don't think I can take much more of it. We can't even do the basics of keeping possession and cutting the brain farts to a minimum. I have nothing against Chester but ye gods on what planet is it a good idea to renew his contract?

Me too, same old story in attack passes to the floor ext .Even the two so called commentators (they were very bad) said you can read Wakefield attack so easy
