WE`VE GOT A NEW STADIUM1 : Fri Apr 17, 2009 8:02 am
Great to see that Sir Rodney Walker is in charge, this guy`s an achiever with a great track record. He oversaw the development of Leicester City`s girly game Walker`s Stadium and they`re now on the verge of promotion to the Championship. Have faith, he will deliver! :D :D :D

There are going to be a lot of empty seats in your 12,000 stadium (from when I have visited).

Also, from the Sky Sports article, i didn't realise Wakefild had a university

Just simple things like a weights room that you can use for Free , If Leigh want to train on any part of the LSV including the stadium pitch they have to pay for it , in fact they are not allowed to train on it at all

Our home form so far this year has been about as good as our display at belle vue the other week

Beleive me I Know how bad it is at the moment but some of the stiff collared SMC appointees will have to see sense eventualy.

Leigh were told that the gym at the Hilton Park ground would be available to them for some considerable time. Unfortunately when they tried to use it someone had demolished it. That left the club with nowhere to train unless they pay to use what is essentialy their own stadium.

Why, surely it's commom sense that attendances increase by a few thousand when a new stadium is built, due to it being under cover and generally alot nicer!

Think roads near there will have to be levelled quite a bit, as for the ground it looks extremely level already so preparing it shouldn't be a massive job!!

Clearly a fair amount of work has been done since the pit was closed by this lot:

Not quite sure what to make of this, they seem to be all over. I assume it is already accounted for:
