Dean Muir could have as many as eleven first team players available to him for tomorrow’s reserve team season opener.Three weeks after a friendly away at Thornhill Trojans was postponed, Cougars reserves will finally get onto the field for the first team in 2015 with Victoria Rangers visiting Cougar Park.
Daley Williams and Luke Haigh will both make their returns from injury in this game with Gavin Duffy included to gain match fitness ahead of the new League One season.
Youngsters Sean Kelly and Andy Gabriel, who impressed for the first team in pre-season, will also both turn out for Dean Muir’s side this Thursday evening.
The game will also present the opportunity for supporters to see new signing Scott Lee for the first time.
The friendly will see a number of youngsters in the Reserve Grade, including fans favourite Ben Stead, also turn out in the fight to earn a place in the seventeen for the reserve league opener against the Leigh Centurions.
The game at Cougar Park tomorrow (Thursday) evening is a 19:30 KO with admission £2 for Adults and Free for Concessions.
