That's fair enough 104-4 , I understand what you are saying ,
Not here for friends or allies , just concern for the cougars ,
Like most other people on here , just commenting that it is good that
people are now waking up to what is actually going on at the club.

I was brought up to speak my mind , it never wins popularity contests
but at the end of the day we are all here through our love of the Cougars and the
game in general...... your parting comment on your last post sums it up just right.

Thank you for the insight, I wasn't aware the current high standard was to your taste. Don't you learn something new every day.

Just for information the words, Defence and Discipline, were spoken on Radio Leeds by a new guy who was commenting on the game, and I think he must have been a neutral. He also observed, that Swinton found a weakness in the defence and kept aiming that way and the Cougars never attempted to rectify it.

Oh, for what it's worth, how I, or anyone else, follows, supports, ignore (10,000's do), the variants of a "professional" Keighley Rugby League club is entirely up to them.
If you don't like my observations then there are actions you can take!!

You were at the games, so your points are probably well founded. Sadly it's not your decision to make regarding the player so you will have to live with the situation. The best you can currently do is comment.

Hmmm, DD reminds me of something rather nice , however, I digress.

You could add:
Determination
Desire and
Direction,
which is what Swinton appeared to have plenty of.

You could also add:
Dismayed
Disappointed and
Disillusioned,
which is what many Cougar fans will be right now.

There can be no bones about the fact that this cup was one of our objectives and this, coupled with the performances so far, is just not good enough.

"We'll get better next week, only works for so long. Cudda, shudda, wudda.

We failed to break them down despite all the back to back sets we had on their line, we tackle each other to give them a free run to the line, then commit suicide by giving a penalty right in front of our own posts.

We distribute the ball too slow, catch the ball standing still and don't run decent lines and we sure as hell miss the go forward of Schick.

Barring all that, it was actually a very exiting game that we could and should have won.

As nice a touch as it was by the club to hand out bunches of daffs to the ladies, if you don't start winning you're going to be in the poop.

Personally, I have a season ticket and will come and watch no matter what, but there are many that will find something more rewarding to do with their time and money.

Time to "put up" or "shut up" I'm afraid.

One final thing, personal insults to players are pathetic and those doing it whether at the match or on wasteofspacebook should take a good look in the mirror.

I don't like loosing, I don't like our current form or tactics either, but it's now that they need our support more than ever.

Oldham "bouncing" Barrow at Barrow shows this league will be anything but easy.

I like to look on the bright side but I'm afraid we'll be lucky to finish in the top 4 if the current form continues.

I still believe we can turn this around but that will take a marked change in mental and physical attitude.

I am an advocate of offering opportunities to individuals to demonstrate their abilities - and whilst Mr. March has been given significant opportunities, perhaps it is now time for him to try something new - clearly his abilities as a Head Coach are not up to standard.

May I also remind The Board that this is also the Third Division and at this early stage, we arnt managing to compete at this level.

Dreamer pointed out the insults to the players. I agree that the crowd should cut out the negativity and shout some positive things. I've read some psychology books and I've seen with my own eyes the difference positive language can make to the performance of a team rather than negative language. Simple changes from "don't be so stupid" to "let's focus now" can lift our team just. Believe me, it can make a big difference. It is as Dreamer pointed out a change in attitude that is needed and things will start to improve.
