It didn't look pretty did it Andrew. I must say, I thought they would win but I did not expect such a dislodged appearance by us. So much dropped ball although credit to Dews for targetting the ball in the one to ones. I am sure the lads will be well gutted when they watch the reply tonight. Roll on a better team performance at CP.

How was the curry?

curry was the best thing on the menu!! I've had a really cxxp day had to attend my best friends funeral and thought that an encouraging performance may of cheered me up a bit, now if they try I'm happy but we looked disjointed and more importantly in interested and that is a major concern, take nothing away from dewsbury they were ten yards faster at the play the ball than us and I'm just bogged off , a crap end tons crap day.!!!

The man in the middle didn't do you any favours, but realistically you were out-played. Too much dropped ball and an all round out-of-sorts performance. Only consolation is: it can only get better. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

We were 2nd best to a very good Dewsbury team, that being said I do not believe they were 40 points better, we had more than enough quality chances to make a closer contest, I am not saying we would have won but would have been a fairer reflection of the game.

Dewsbury players nearly always had players running onto the ball from deep we didnt. The man in the middle whilst not letting in the tries contributed to the field position Dewsbury got and scored tries from were very bizarre to say the least and if he watches the game will see what terrible calls were made.

The worst call to me was when our player was basically lifted and dropped on his head luckily no serious injury but that was down to luck, inexplicably the ref gave a knock on.

As I say Dewsbury were the best team but not the margin in my view.

I think Barry has to sort out the away form issues as this has got beyond acceptable, if its a psychological problem then as coach he has to sort it maybe get an expert in this field to address the problem.

Congratulations to Dewsbury but I expect us to reverse this defeat at cougarpark and clearly we had an off day but against a team as ruthless as they were we got punished.

I agree with everything girl power has said. I do not agree with people saying things can only get better. Tonight was a very frustrating game as like said previously this was our worst performance so far, but the season is still going very well. At the start of the season I would of been happy with our league position. The man in the middle did not help and in all honesty lost it in the second half, he went to his ear piece for every decision as he was unable to make a call.
Also to be fair to the players at full time they looked gutted, annoyed and very upset. I know it does not make up for the score but it is good to see that they showed emotion and that they were visibly not happy with the performance.
I think we will be fine though and still continue to have a good season.
Roll on the next game I think we will win it by 34 points.

My first 'proper 'match for ages ....not working or timekeeping .....yessss :D

Not the best ...but I'm, sure Baz wil have plenty to say on our shortcomings.

one of the things the Rams did well was tackling so close to the edge of the rules , we had 'high ' tackles , 'ripping out' and numerous other offences in the tackle that 10 years ago , would have been picked up by refs , but now in these days of a speed-ed up game & RFL guidelines are not penalised in the same way.

B4 all you Rams fans have a go , I'm actually impressed with how your lads knew how to 'play the game', pi**ed off but impressed  ,

For us , we lost the ball far too often , we probably bombed 4 chances by dropped passes.Nuff said ....

Thought the Rams would have far more there ....best moment ... Freddies complete & total inialiation of Roger the Ram in the half time race .Go Freddie.... :D

I have to say we were second best to a very good team.
The way there ran at one area of the pitch, really caused us problems.
To just keep pounding in was very good to watch.

They were also very good in the tackle. How many times did a Keighley player get tackled and get pushed back in the tackle.

It also looks like one or two of our players are not match fit.

To think they only played 4 days ago and could play like that, really was a hell of a turn around.

If anything it looked like we played 4 days ago.
We looked a bit stage struck. So many basic mistakes.

You can see why they are top of the league.
