This season, whether it makes a difference to them or not, it certainly makes a difference to keighley, Haven Batley, Doncaster & Sheffield

How? Deducting 3 points from NWC for this season will not affect the finishing positions or points totals of the teams you mention. Deducting 3 points for next season would be a greater punishment to NWC.

IT would mean that 3 clubs brokw the rules this season

The same ruling would apply to Doncaster and Batley who would also have the 3 points deduction reapplied

Haven would be in 8th, Keighley 9th, Batley 10th and relegated, also Sheffield and Doncaster would swith positions

It would then be fair, right and proper

Ryan Duffy played for Leighs u 23s team last friday night in the competition final, then for NWC against Leighs 1 st team ( scoring 2 trys ) on sunday

I dont see where anybody could have gained any advantage here, Ryan hasnt been offered a contract at Leigh for next year and might well end up at NWC

I'm presuming it's still against the rules? As you say it's not particularly relevant but if it remains unpunished then it sets a precedent for future loan player infringements being unpunishable.

Don't worry, NWC will obviously plead that as neither Doncaster nor Batley were punished then they should not either.
