Some interesting declarations and forfeitures going on around the country. Good to see people making a game of it.

Surrey's gamble with Warwickshire is really interesting, even if it is understandable.

Has Boycott dismissed Yorkshire's season as a disappointment and demanded the entire playing squad be sacked yet?

Lancs sign Jos Buttler,good for the one day comps but can the regular Lancs watchers on here give a view on if he's better than what we had this season.

I'd say so, yes. I'm worried that he's likely to end up playing more for England, though. On a brief aside, Davies is a good 'keeper and knows which way up to hold a bat. Given a few regular chances and learning of the experience of Buttler then he can become a very, very good player.
