I'd say Johnson was our top target considering we've spent £17m on him, we signed him very quickly and Rafa said the other day we won't be signing anymore big big money players.

We actually made a bid for him 1st then you came in with a bigger offer. Gutted we missed out on him though, no really, he was class.

Tevez said he wouldn't sign for Liverpool because he has too much respect, nice one, but he also came out weeks before that saying he'll sign for any of Man Utd's rivals, listing Arsenal, Chelsea, City etc., does that mean they made a bid for him as well?

I'd rather Sissoko at £5m than Fellaini at £15m , Sissoko couldn't pass or shot, but he was an absolute animal in the midfield.

Rafa also said he was a summer target, but again you know best. Tevez agent also confirmed Liverpools interest, I might write to SSN and tell them to ignore managers, agents etc and got straight to LFC fans on this forum as you clearly know more.

I am Fellani's biggest critic and the singing of him so I've got that one don't you worry. But top be fair Fella has given us more back in terms of goals in a season than Momo did it 2 or 3 years at your gaffe.

I agree with your point though, the M.E.N. is just as biased about United based stories. It doesn't make Bailey less of a crap journalist though. Which is presumably one of the reasons he isn't going to do it any more.

They are local papers, so what would you expect. United shouldn't even have a presence in the MEN, they should have the Sale Advertiser as the main newspaper source, but that's another issue.
