SKY sources: City in talks with Adebayor. Seems they fell for that brochure

Seems Rafa was a bit gutted about Barry choosing Citeh, of course Rafa must be wrong...Barry was never a target apparently so obviously a poster on rlfans has more knowledge of the situation.

I rate Adebayor. He's got the tools to be a a top player. He'll never be a Villa, Torres or Driogba, but he can be the top player in the level below that. He would certainly be a very good signing.

He has problems with consistency, and I still think he needs to attack the box a bit more and play on the shoulder of the last defender more often. I also get the feeling that he struggles with Arsenal's style of play at times.

I find it ironic that a Utd fan can mock Chris Bailey for bias and spin. David Meek's slobbering devotion to Ferguson was cringeworthy, and at times vomit inducing.

Well, Bailey has been city's press officer for years anyway, they may as well make it official.

I agree with your point though, the M.E.N. is just as biased about United based stories. It doesn't make Bailey less of a crap journalist though. Which is presumably one of the reasons he isn't going to do it any more.

God I despise Tottenham, Newcastle, Liverpool and Aston Villa.

Every time Everton find a player to bid for these clubs come wading in with a bid. Newcastle in particular were terrible for it and I'm sure the scouts there actually track Everton's scouts rather than identify players themselves.

Spurs are now at it over Naughton. Everton agree a deal, the player is keen and Sheff United agree. Spurs then weigh in with a bigger offer. Nothing wrong with that is there? Not unless you consider that they already have 4 right backs in their squad. What on earth do they need yet another right back for?

One player in Sissoko who was signed by Benitez at Valencia? Hardly Everton found.

As for Mark, Barry's gone City for the money, there was nothing official regarding us, I don't recall seeing us rejected by Barry, or ever having a bid accepted by Villa for Barry. But even so, how can you justify out top two targets 'rejecting' us for City? Unless you know our top two targets, you can't really say that. I'd say Johnson was our top target considering we've spent £17m on him, we signed him very quickly and Rafa said the other day we won't be signing anymore big big money players.

I'd say your manager is pretty official, also Tevez saying "he won't sign for you"..of course you know best though.
