I dont think people wanted Keegan back, it was a massive suprise when he was re-installed as manager.

I dont think everyone wanted Shearer as manager.

That would take me back to around the time we signed Frank Worthington. He did manage a few England Caps and a couple of goals.

We were'nt good enough. It's that simple, we had the chances presented to us by other teams, but the lack of urgency yesterday is so hard to take. They didnt even fight

This has been coming for years, the clubs been horrendously mismanaged. Everyone at all levels of the club have to take responsibility. To blame Shearer is ridiculous. He didnt do a good job. I fail to see who could have saved us? It's fine to criticise with hindsight but if the goal last week didnt get disallowed? If we'd scored yesterday. We could have survived but it wouldnt mean that the club is rotten to the core. It was criminally badly run by the last regime. Ashley holds a lot of responsibility as well.

On a brighter note its nice to know so many fans of other clubs who arent even our rivals care so much about us
