Interesting that it's only Man Utd fans that reckon it was a penalty.

I think when even self confessed scouse hater LGJM doesn't think it's a penalty you're probably barking up the wrong tree.

Because we saw a team that looked to pass it rather than hoof it, looked interested and played with a bit of cohesion. The fact that that performance was a positive gives a bit of a clue at how bad we've been at times this season.

David Ngog posting about it on his twitter feed...is this the same David Ngog who dove with no contact whatsoever against Birmingham? I don't condone diving, but Liverpool have enough divers to know what goes around comes around. Gerrard has dove quite a lot too. At least there was contact with Berbatov.

Not really, I'm never confident about any derby. It's obviously a plus you're missing Gerrard but I think a lot depends on how Moyes lines us up.
