Indeed our lack of ability to control and pass a football was quite staggering at times last night. No wonder we get excited at the foreigners playing club football in England.

We certainly don't deserve to on current performances. Good job we aren't in a 'group of death' or the passports would already be out.

And is that a problem?. Ask any fan of a premier lge side who are the best 5 players at their club i wonder how many would qualify for the national side/.

We could end up like the rest of the home nations selecting players from the championship if things continue as they are the pool of players is shrinking

Not a problem having the foreigners, the problem is matching them for ability.

If you think I'm having a go at the imports, I'm not ... we get excited about them because many of them are better players than we breed at home.

Until we match them for ability in this country we are screwed then

Should we win on Wednesday it will only paper over the cracks abit. Top to bottom fooball in this country needs a shake up. Look at the F.A for example, the cost of the national stadium meant we had to bin the planned national junior academy because of lack of funds
