The voiceover is painful but much like the NFL morning five showed the other year. Painfully poop if you knew the game but hopefully entertaining for newcomers to the game.

Yeah I suppose if a few newbies watch it, it will have done its job, but for me personally who has watched it for years I literally cringe everytime Vernon Kay talks about the NFL as if he had a chance. It was worse when he was a "celebrity team captain" at the Tampa Bay London game, I was actually embarrased to be English at that point!

Vernon Kay could have been an NFL superstar dontcha know!!

I know it was obviously made for TV and will be set up a bit but am I actually supposed to believe that all those 40 year old fat blokes beat Leeds Carnegie? I thought Leeds Carnegie where supposed to be a pretty good team?

They said after each TD that they were the first Birmingham had conceded this year unless I was hearing things(and only got 2 points for the 1st ) and if they scored 2 TD's and an XP against Birmingham why did they only get 9 points? Shocking editing or are the points correct??

Leeds Carnegie aren't any good. Lost about 50-0 to Birmingham first game of the year.

The first score from the All Stars was a safety, it was an extra point attempt that they recovered. [College rules in the UK]

And yeah, Birmingham haven't conceded a point yet in the league this season, though that should change on sunday when they play Loughborough in a rematch of the National final.

What a stupid rule!!

So you can get points after another team has scored by blocking an XP/recovering it and returning it ?

Basically a 90/100 yard return and you only get 2 points, balls to that I wouldn't bother returning it for 2 points!!

No wonder they didn't bother explaining it on the programme! Stupid sport no wonder Vernon Kay thought he was good.
