After Fergie saying there is no value in the transfer market and then spending 10m on some guy hes only seen on youtube, Barcelona go and sign one of the best up and comming talents in the game for 3m!!! Id like to think we were at least interested!

No. Lindegaard is the Danish keeper. We're also heavily linked with De Gea from Atletico.

Ha. You shown me! Sorry about that, I was reading about you signing an apparent Norwegian youth who was the dog's nuts.

I think you should get Diego Lopez from Villarreal, although I haven't watched him as much this year, but I used to think he was class (should still be unless he's had a horror season).

One paper today says De Gea for £15m another says Lindegaard in Jan for £3.5m.

The other day it was Akinfeev and Neuer.

We were shit in 1990, and considering the calibre of the whole competition made 2010 seem entertaining then that's some statement. I am not sure if you are old enough to remember it. The only good performance came in the Semi-Final.

Your beef on jingoism is actually based on your United tendencies, let's be honest. Jingoism in England is no different than the jingoism that affects most major countries at such times. 1996 awoke a nation that was actually pretty apathetic in comparison to the rest of the world when it came to supporting their team in major tournaments.

I was going from a reference point to which I can recall, if not remember exactly. So, yes, that's a fair comment.

Actually, it isn't. My beef with Ingerlund and it's jingoistic fans pre dates me being aware of the culture at United.
