Diego Cavalieri. He's barely played but he's looked shaky when he has done. I wouldn't say no to a longer run in the Carling Cup this year, simply because I'd like to see a few of the reserves get a game with this new rule coming in next year.

Itandje was dire and I hope he doesn't set foot in the club again.

Is it just me or does anyone else find the whole concept of watching Champions League group games totally pointless?

We know United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are all going through, so that's 24 games that I probably wouldn't watch if the TV was stuck on that channel and I'd lost the remote control.

Wake me up at the last sixteen stage please.

You'd be loving it if City were in the mix though, eh?

The group stages can spring the odd surprise. I remember we were very close in 07/08 to going out in the groups, that was pretty worrying. I actually think we have a pretty tough group that won't be such a stroll in the park, but we should go through.

Two great signings by the fat controller.
Thought you wouldn't want to see Itandje again after his antics at the Hillsborough memorial rather than him being pish.

Was watching Atletico Madrid last night and I kept thinking 'Bring on Thursday and four days of rugby!'.

Of course, but as a neutral, it's incredibly tedious because the two qualifiers can nearly all be picked without utilising a brain cell.

The group stages are there purely to mimimise the possibility of shocks and guarantee the passage of the big boys to the latter stage of the tournament.

Cavalieri has barely had chance to play, he's a back up 'keeper but let's be honest, he must be better than Massimo Taibi

Itandje is a mix, a sh*t player and an ignorant nice person.
