Atletico should have had the game sewn up well before Almeria's winner. My old mate Pablo Piati getting both Almeria goals

Espanyol have finally arrested my disgraceful betting form of late. Try and catch the two goals. Ben Sahar scored the first Espanyol goal at the new stadium with a great header. Ivan Alonso's winner was even better.

Defences are standing off Ronaldo like he's a leper. He must think it's Christmas every matchday in La Liga.

Bloody hell, I thought they'd scored again after I closed my stream in disgust after the equaliser! Thankfully not, a draw is bad enough!

Only just realised myself to be honest, I'm not sure how often they do it but tonight they decided to show Villarreal/Real Madrid on delay, to be fair SKY Sports 3 was filled up with highlights of the Kazakhstan Open golf, DTM Motor Racing and Transworld Sport, which obviously take preference to a live game!

Down to earth with a bit of a bang for Athletic - beaten 4-0 at home against Sevilla, Valencia/Atlético later could be interesting.

Real Madrid march on, easily beating Tenerife 3-0 with Benzema notching a couple, Barcelona are looking set to follow 1-0 up at Malaga coming up to half time.

Quite a few of the papers suggesting that a defeat tonight couls spell the end for Emery or Resino.

Comical defending was behind the Athletic Club result. Hopefully it looked too bad to be anything more than a one off. Offered nothing in attack

Just seen Madrid v Tenerife highlights.
Some shocking defending from the visitors. The word stagefright springs to mind. Ronaldo wasn't happy in the slightest about being substituted. Drenthe should have got a red card for a potential ankle breaker.
