I think you are mistaking Liverpool for a team who can defend.
Think you are mistaking Utd for a team that will attack away from home in a big game.

So no prizes for guessing what 10,000 Liverpool fans will be taking to the streets to whinge about on Sunday afternoon - the owners of course. “They haven’t built our new stadium” - although most fans want to stay at Anfield. “They don’t give Rafa enough money” - well they gave him £40m for Dossena, Keane, Babel and Riera so would you shell out any more in their position? “They must sell up now” - the Americans are trying their hardest to shift the club.
Still, why let a valid argument get in the way of a good afternoon’s whining up at Anfield? Walk on indeed…
They were happy to take the yank dollars at the time of the takeover. Don't remember many complaints then?
If two billionaires buy our club, promise us the spades will be dug in 60 days, promise they'll let the manager sign 'Snoogy Doogy' if needs be, and, I'm pretty sure I read them saying no debt will be placed on the club, although I'm not certain on that, then we're bound to be annoyed when they go back on the majority of their words.
I don't really see the point of the protests right now, I've said before, I'd rather protests happened closer to the refinancing, instead of the middle of the season when they're under no pressure from banks.
I think anyone would be happy if they were promised £300m+ stadiums, lots of backing to the manager to invest in the playing squad, etc., however, all they've done us whack debts onto the club, embarrass themselves in the media and lie to the fans.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing, if I knew in February '07 that we'd still have no stadium, all of the BS that has happened would happen and the club would be £200m+ in debt, then I wouldn't have been happy with the Americans coming in, not one bit, but I, nor did anybody else, anticipate such a situation to happen.
You'll probably pat yourself on the back and claim you've done a fine piece of angling, kudos to you if so.

Not at all.
You have to question however why Liverpool fans thought 2 billionaires would buy the club, build a new stadium and put millions in the transfer kitty, all out of goodwill and not expect any sort of return from it. Now you have lost 4 in a row it is apparently the time to protest? I don't get it.
Anyway I'm off now so will read your reply in due course.

They would obviously expect return, of course they would, however, there's been no stadium built, not one bit of progress with regards to that. The manager hasn't been backed like they said he would and they've utterly disgraced the club in the media. We thought, when they came in, that we'd make massive strides in playing catch up with United and Chelsea. We've probably spent more than both clubs since the Americans came in, but we still needed more backing, and the apparent 'the money was spent on renewing contracts', didn't quite wash with me.
As I said, I don't agree with the protests, I'm sure the majority do and will support SoS in their fight against the Americans, but for me, they've left it too late and the Americans will just laugh it off, like they have done with the majority of the protests over the past X amount of months.
What do you expect? Think you can come on here and just give your opinion?
And on top of that you had the nerve to make a valid but negative point about Liverpool. When will you learn?
