Quick mention for Salford city's last day escape from relegation as well:

On the morning of Saturday 7th Match Salford had one win and eight points from their opening 26 league fixtures and were 15 points behind the next to bottom side and 18 points behind Rossendale United. However a 5-3 win at Lancaster City that day kick started their season which culminated in 8 wins and 25 points from their final eleven league fixtures.

Fantastic achievement.

WE ARE GOING UP!!!

Bootle won away at Oldham Town yesterday not the greatest game or performace but Rob Hardwick scored the winner in second half. Means we have been promoted to the Vodkat Premier and only need one point at Daisy Hill next Saturday to win the league!!

Yeh, looked doomed at the start of March. At least they didn't stay up at the expense of Warrington Town, who managed a respectable finish of 19th...

Runcorn fans saw a game they'd rather forget last night when we crashed 6-0 at home to title chasers AFC Fylde. We only had 12 players who turned up last night things are looking bad, but at least we've got a cup final next week to cheer us up!

WE ARE CHAMPIONS!!!!!

Bootle won the league today, we beat Daisy Hill 2-1 away to secure the title. Andy Fowler with two.

League trophy presented and I even got a picture with it too, fantastic stuff. Can't see us in up a league next season. One game left in season, Eccleshall away next Saturday.
